The position of Operations Controller is within the Operations Department and reports directly to the Operations Manager. The department is responsible for water reticulation, sewerage networks and water & wastewater capital and recoverable works.
The Operations Controller is responsible for developing and managing a world class call centre which:
- plans, programs and delivers customer services; planned and reactive maintenance and capital works programs through the optimisation of the performance of operational supervisors and their field crews and teams,
- provides quality customer service to Fraser Coast residents through the operation of a professional water and wastewater call centre for the public, and
- manages asset information and maintenance program information and decision making via appropriate sophisticated computer based GIS and asset management system.
This role works with the Operations Manager and relevant supervisors to ensure an Operations workforce which is; optimised, proactive, customer focussed, well planned and exhibits a "can do" work culture.
